de bloembollenmand/the flower bulb basket

zoals je kan zien is er al van alles opgekomen in de rieten bollenmand in de achtertuin.
dat blad met dat rood/paars zijn felrode tulpen, de smalle sprietjes zijn blauwe druifjes. Kijk maar wat je nog meer herkent :)
De achtertuin is op het noordwesten. Hierdoor bloeit alles achter een paar weken later dan in de voortuin.


3 jaar geleden heb ik deze mand gekocht, eerst heb ik gaten in het plastic gemaakt, en toen heb ik m beplant.
Om rot van de mand te voorkomen heb ik de mand op 4 baksteentjes gezet.
Het valt me erg mee dat hij zo lang meegaat, want hij staat in weer en wind, zomer en winter buiten :)

As you can see, a lot of leafs are emerging from the bulb basket in the backyard.
The red and green leafs are tulips, the thin leafs are grape hyacints, and theres a lot of different bulb leafs visible.
Our backyard is facing north west, and because of this, everything flowers a few weeks later there, then in the frontyard.

3 Years ago i bought a wicker potato basket, and lots of flowerbulbs. Before i planted it, i cut holes in the plastic inside the basket, so the water can flow away if theres too much of it.
I put it on 4 small bricks so the bottom wont rot away.

It amazes me that it lasts so long, i just leave it outside in summer and winter, and it didnt rot (yet?).
